I know it has been ages since I updated, but, I don't really have much time after I reach home. School ends, and I'll usually go out with my OG, if not it'll be training. Anyway, school's been great. Still coping pretty well with the lectures, hope I can do so even after the tutorials start next week.
Training was great this morning. Then I went down to Clementi to meet Jeremy and the rest, and went to play pool after that.
Played for around an hour, then went home. As Jeremy, Simon and I were walking back towards the MRT station, we saw a girl running across the road to chase after her mother and nearly got knocked down. Luckily, the driver was alert and wasn't driving at a very high speed. He braked in time and hence prevented a tragedy.
This scene makes me really mad. I was telling Jeremy and Simon that the mother should lose her close ones to know the pain, just like how the tsunami victims lost their loved ones within seconds right in front of their eyes. I'm not saying the tsunami victims deserve it, but just making a comparison to how the mother took care of her daughter.
It's human nature I guess, people just don't know how to treasure their loved ones until they lose them. I mean, in the first place the mother should be holding the girl's hand instead of letting her walk behind her and never even look if she's alright occasionally. The worst comes, when I saw the mother just carry on walking even though the girl nearly got knocked down. She seemed nonchalant. *Grrrrrrr....*
She looked like a single mother... but who cares?
Well, I guess people will only learn when they feel pain... *shakes head*
