Oh yeah baby, I got home yesterday at around 1800 hours. The Malaysia trip rocks, truly rocks.
Alright, first day was pretty boring, travelled there, checked in, team bonding, sleep. The team bonding was really fun. Haha.
Second day, woke up at 0700 hours, went to wash up and stuff, then woke Choon Hua up since he's still sleeping at 0700. We then went down to the restaurant to have our breakfast. Hmmm, breakfast was pretty alright, sort of a buffet. Ate my fill, definitely. After breakfast was training, and it took us approximately 30 minutes to reach the alley. It was equipped with AMF lanes and returns. Overall, it looks real pretty. Got ready and stuff, then I was told that we only had 4 games, cause' they are charging us by the number of games and not the duration, which totally sucked. Anyway, I accepted it and just went to bowl. Well, I have to say I didn't bowl really well, cause' mostly it's because of my follow-through. Uncle Henry came to me when I'm at the 3rd game and as a result, my fourth game really made a big improvement - by almost 30 pins. Anyway, as I said it was my fault mostly, but the lane condition played a part as well. It was entirely different from the local alleys. It was oiled with a reverse block. Which means it's super dry on the inside, from 15 to 25 board, and oily on the outside. I've never bowled on this kinda condition and therefore could not find the pocket, and it's not easy to find the pocket. Anyway, I benefitted quite a lot from the training. After that was mental training. Again, I learnt a lot from what Uncle Henry and Uncle Paul said. Really. Hmmm, after mental training, was dinner, team bonding then I went to bed. Team bonding is really something worth looking forward, cause' it's really fun and very close interaction with my team mates.
Third day, the day the friendly competition between Saints bowling team and Daiman youth team was held. As usual, breakfast and stuff. Then went to the alley. The first event was the singles. Lane condition was the same. Hmmm, I bowled like how I usually bowl, just a little below my average, but got a game above 200. :D After the Singles was the team. Hmmm, bowled a little poorer than Singles, but I think I really did my best for both events. Haha, my team was 5th, thanks to Choon Hua; really pulled us up. Then, dinner, team bonding, haha, but this time, I didn't sleep till around 0430. Haha. Played "asshole dai-dee" with Jensen, Lee Jie, Nigel, Clara and Calista. Haha, it was really fun, we played from around probably 0100 to around 0400. Then after that Clara, Nigel and I went back to Jensen and Lee Jie's room to continue playing. Too bad Choon Hua slept. Anyway, we played till 0430 then I went back to my room, together with Nigel and Lee Jie. Choon Hua took Lee Jie's bed, so Lee Jie took "refuge" in my room. Nigel dare not go back to his room, haha, cause' it's too far away, and the corridor is quite dark. Anyway, Nigel slept on the floor with the first layer of blankets from the beds, Lee Jie took Choon Hua's bed, and without doubt, I sleep in mine. Hmmm, I woke up late, haha. But, could have been later if no one woke me up.
Alright, fourth day, was the same for the morning. Then went to City Square to shop in the afternoon. All of us were pretty disappointed because Miss Wong only gave us 2 hours. Anyway, I only bought a pair of DC shoes, which costs RM80. It's red, black and white. A bit weird, but, well, I like it, haha. Anyway, Lee Jie, and Nicholas bought a pair also. After shopping, we went back to school, and all of us went home.
Hmmm, this trip is really fruitful. Other than in terms of bowling, it also brought me closer to many of my team mates. Especially the MB Gang. Haha. Really hope there'll be another trip next year.
Saints bowling team rules!
If I tell you I've been missing and thinking of you all this time, will you believe me?
